“Sailor Song” is Gigi Perez’s acoustic, indie-folk ballad about an all-encompassing love and devotion. Her stripped-down acoustic videos took over the internet, turning the song into an iconic queer love anthem.

I started with the acoustic guitar parts, keeping the intimacy and warmth of the original, then added dozens of layers of violin tracks, to create lush, orchestral swells for the chorus.
